Examples of abuse are, but not limited to, negative, defamatory, harassing, abusive or threatening language.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Using VeeroTech Systems, LLC&#8217; network as a means to transmit or post negative, defamatory, harassing, abusive or threatening language is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Forging or misrepresenting message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the originator of the message is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Accessing, illegally or without authorization, computers, accounts or networks belonging to another party, or attempting to penetrate security measures of another individual&#8217;s system (often known as &#8220;hacking&#8221;). Also, any activity that may be used as a precursor to an attempted system penetration (i.e., port scan, stealth scan or other information-gathering activity).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Distributing information regarding the creation of and sending Internet viruses, worms, Trojan horses, pinging, flooding, mail bombing or denial of service attacks. Also, activities that disrupt the use of or interfere with the ability of others to effectively use the network or any connected network, system, service or equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Advertising, transmitting or otherwise making available any software, program, product or service that is designed to violate this AUP, which includes the facilitation of the means to spam, initiation of pinging, flooding, mail bombing, denial of service attacks and piracy of software.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Exporting encryption software over the Internet or otherwise, to points outside the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC reserves the right not to accept postings from newsgroups where we have actual knowledge that the content of the newsgroup violates the AUP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Engaging in activities that are determined to be illegal, including, but not limited to, advertising, transmitting or otherwise making available ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, fraudulently charging credit cards and pirating software, creating libelous or defamatory content. Doing so is in direct violation with this agreement upon purchasing services &amp; grounds for immediate termination without refund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Engaging in activities, whether lawful or unlawful, that VeeroTech Systems, LLC determines to be harmful to its subscribers, operations, reputation, goodwill or customer relations included, but not limited to: shell scripts, phishing content, hosted malware\/virus software, actively engaging in malicious intent. Doing so is in direct violation with this agreement upon purchasing services &amp; grounds for immediate termination without refund.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">As we have pointed out, the responsibility for avoiding harmful activities just described rests primarily with the subscriber. VeeroTech Systems, LLC will not, as an ordinary practice, monitor the communications of its subscribers to ensure that the comply with VeeroTech Systems, LLC&#8217; policy or applicable law. However, when VeeroTech Systems, LLC becomes aware of harmful activities, it may take any action to stop the harmful activity, including, but not limited to, removal of information, shutting down a web site, implementing screening software designed to block offending transmissions, denying access to the Internet, or any other action deemed appropriate by VeeroTech Systems, LLC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC performs automated scans for malicious files &amp; known exploits on all servers. We reserve the right to immediately quarantine and\/or remove any malicious files found on our network that can harm the reputation of any servers, IP address space or any transmissions to\/from our network for customer services. In the event malicious content is found on an account, you, the customer, will be notified by our abuse department. This includes, but is not limited to exploited plugins, themes and any web applications that are actively engaging in malicious activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\u00a0indemnification\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"18_Indemnification\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"count\">18.\u00a0<\/span>Indemnification<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC WordPress installation &amp; configuration services are provided to aid in the ease of use &amp; protection of your WordPress website. We cannot be held liable for security breaches due to additional plugins, changing to less complex passwords or any exploits that are not directly related to our configuration. We outline our scope of work with clients before purchasing. The measures that are performed are strictly &#8220;preventative&#8221; measures to aid in securing a WordPress site. The addition of plugins &amp; features to your site after the initial work is performed greatly increases the chance of exploitation. All services are performed &#8220;as-is&#8221; at the time of configuration and VeeroTech Systems, LLC cannot be held liable after the services have been completed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Use of VeeroTech Systems, LLC online form builder (JotForm) is strictly &#8220;at-your-own-risk&#8221;. While we strive to provide a secure environment, we do not recommend storing personal &amp; confidential information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers and such in the forms. In the event of a security breach, we cannot be held liable. VeeroTech Systems, LLC provides the online form builder (JotForm) as an added feature.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"\u00a0monitoring-amp;-subscriber-s\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"19_Monitoring_subscriber_services\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"count\">19.\u00a0<\/span>Monitoring &amp; subscriber services<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC is also aware that many of its subscribers are themselves providers of Internet services, and that information reaching VeeroTech Systems, LLC&#8217; facilities from those subscribers may have originated from a customer of the subscriber or from another third party. VeeroTech Systems, LLC does not require its subscribers who offer Internet services to monitor or censor transmissions or web sites created by customers of its subscribers. VeeroTech Systems, LLC reserves the right to directly take action against a customer of its subscribers. Also, VeeroTech Systems, LLC may take action against the VeeroTech Systems, LLC&#8217; subscriber because of activities of a customer of the subscriber, even though the action may affect other customers of the subscriber. Similarly, VeeroTech Systems, LLC anticipates that subscribers who offer Internet services will cooperate with VeeroTech Systems, LLC in any corrective or preventive action that VeeroTech Systems, LLC deems necessary. Failure to cooperate with such corrective or preventive measures is a violation of VeeroTech Systems, LLC policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC will not intentionally monitor private electronic mail messages sent or receive by its subscribers, unless required to do so by law, governmental authority or when public safety is at stake. VeeroTech Systems, LLC may, however, monitor its service electronically to determine that its facilities are operating satisfactorily. Also, VeeroTech Systems, LLC may disclose information, including, but not limited to, information concerning a subscriber, a transmission made using our network, or a web site, in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, discovery request, warrant, statute, regulation or governmental request. VeeroTech Systems, LLC assumes not obligation to inform the subscriber that subscriber information has been provided and, in some cases, may be prohibited by law from giving such notice. Finally, VeeroTech Systems, LLC may disclose subscriber information or information transmitted over its network where necessary to protect VeeroTech Systems, LLC and others from harm, or where such disclosure is necessary to the proper operation of the system. However, VeeroTech Systems, LLC will never sell information to other services or outside companies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">VeeroTech Systems, LLC expects that its subscribers who provide Internet services to others will comply fully with all applicable laws concerning the privacy of online communications. A subscriber&#8217;s failure to comply with those laws will violate VeeroTech Systems, LLC policy. Finally, VeeroTech Systems, LLC wishes to emphasize that, in signing the Service Agreement, subscribers indemnify VeeroTech Systems, LLC for any violation of the Service Agreement, law or VeeroTech Systems, LLC policy resulting in loss to VeeroTech Systems, LLC or the bringing of any claim against VeeroTech Systems, LLC by any third party. This means that, if VeeroTech Systems, LLC is sued because of a subscriber&#8217;s or customer of a subscriber&#8217;s activity, the subscriber will be responsible for payment of any damages awarded against VeeroTech Systems, LLC, plus costs and attorney&#8217;s fees. We hope this AUP is helpful in clarifying the obligations of Internet users, including VeeroTech Systems, LLC and its subscribers, as responsible members of the Internet. While bandwidth is &#8220;unmetered&#8221; it does not mean &#8220;unlimited&#8221;. The fair use policy is set to protect from resource abuse. If your bandwidth usage is normal website, email &amp; content serving traffic, we will not limit your usage. We understand there may be times when a website has higher than normal traffic which causes a bandwidth spike; this is not considered abuse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If your website is used for uploading\/downloading large files which consume large amounts of bandwidth continuously, we reserve the right to limit your bandwidth quota to a fair amount; this is considered abuse as your hosting account is not to be used as a &#8220;file hosting service&#8221;. This is not to be confused with hosting files, you may certainly utilize your storage resources included with your plan however.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Audio\/Video streaming large amounts can also be considered resource intensive and we recommend against it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In short, if your account does not affect other customer accounts, and you do not intentionally abuse this policy, you will have no problems and need not worry about bandwidth quotas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 id=\"addon-domains:-0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Addon_Domains-2\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Addon Domains:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">While we do not force strict limits on the number of addon domains on every shared hosting account, we do reserve the right to deem a high number of addon domains to be too many. We do reserve the right to deem &#8220;too many&#8221; for accounts with a large number of resold accounts. In this case, we&#8217;d recommend either an additional reseller account on a different server (a discount would apply) or upgrading to a virtual server (VPS) or a dedicated server.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">These limitations are based solely on a performance &amp; stability basis to ensure our servers run at optimal performance &amp; availability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Email:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Accounts that contain large numbers of email accounts are subject to the fair use policy. Accounts found having large number of connections that impact availability to email services to other customers may require an upgrade onto their own server.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 id=\"storage-use-restrictions:\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Storage_Use_Restrictions\"><\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Storage Use Restrictions:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We do not permit the use of hosting accounts as long term file storage unless the files are directly related to your website. This includes ISO files, OS IMG files &amp; cPanel generated backup files. cPanel generated backup files will be automatically removed from our servers after 24 hours due to the large amount of resources required to back up &#8220;backups&#8221;. We kindly request that after a cPanel backup is generated, that you immediately download the backup and then remove it from your hosting account. Please note, as the owner &amp; maintainer of the websites\/applications hosted on your account with VeeroTech Systems, LLC, you are responsible for ensuring that your website is kept up to date &amp; is absent of compatibility issues with non-EOL software releases. In the event VeeroTech Systems, LLC performs an upgrade for an EOL (End Of Life) suite, we cannot be held liable for incompatibilites within your web application.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">We routinely test our servers &amp; infrastructure for review on current configurations. We will make all attempts to mitigate the attack however, if the attack directed towards your website and\/or server begins to affect other customer accounts, it will be disabled. Mitigating DDOS attacks are a bandwidth &amp; resource intensive process. We make all attempts to mitigate incoming DDOS attacks.
