This guide will outline a basic process for getting started with your reseller hosting account from VeeroTech Systems.
Logging into WHM, creating a package, cPanel account & assigning the package for use
Upgrading, downgrading & modifying packages/accounts
Creating custom nameservers & A records
NOTE: See below if you have registered a domain with VeeroTech Systems
If you have registered a domain through VeeroTech Systems, you will need to create any custom nameserver records inside of our account management portal by following the steps below:
Once logged into the account management portal, on the left menu click to expand “Domain Services“. Once the menu expands, then click “My Domains“. Your domain(s) will now show in the center of the screen.
Towards the right side of the domain you want to work with, click the button that says “Manage Domain“. You will then be taken the domain management screen. You will see several “tabs” listed at the top, starting with “information”.
On the far right, you’ll see the menu option “Management Tools” – click to expand the menu. From there, you’ll see a few options, one of which will be “Register Nameservers“. Click “Register Nameservers” to continue.
On this page, there are a few different options regarding any nameservers you register. You can update/remove/create nameservers. To create a new nameserver, you will be using the 2 boxes directly under “Register a NameServer Name“.
In the first box titled “Nameserver” you will want to enter the nameserver of your choice – typically this would be “ns1″ (note, do not enter the full domain – only enter the prefix such as ns1)
In the second box title “IP Address”, you will want to enter the IP’s provided. In this case, we’ll be using the VeeroTech Systems DNS cluster IP addresses. After both boxes are filled in, click “Save Changes” just to the right of the boxes.
